MISSION STATEMENT
|
A Tourism Mission Statement was presented to Tribal Council, which was
recognized and adopted through Tribal Resolution No. 131-03-CR. The
following is the said Tourism Mission Statement: It is the mission of the CRST Tourism Division to encourage responsible tourism efforts that will give visitors the opportunity to experience the Lakota culture and the Cheyenne River Reservation from the heart of the Great Sioux Nation. Our landscapes, traditions, wildlife and history are a source of strength and identity for people both on and off the reservation. Through tourism, we will strive to impart an accurate and meaningful picture of who we are, while protecting the cultural and natural history of the reservation and our people. |
